Zimbabwe: Council to Embark On Skilled Workers' Housing Project

Harare — Harare City Council is finalising discussions with the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe to embark on housing projects for skilled workers in Belvedere and Southerton, chairperson of the commission running the affairs of the City of Harare Mr Michael Mahachi has said.

In a speech read on his behalf by Commissioner Alfred Tome at the ground-breaking ceremony for Current Housing Consortium in Budiriro over the weekend, Mr Mahachi said the purpose of the deliberations was to arrest the skills flight through provision of decent houses to professionals.
