Nigeria: Immunisation - EU Spends N860m in 6 States

Umuahia — The European Union (EU) has so far spent the sum of N860 million in a bid to sustain its drive to ensure effective immunisation coverage in six states of the federation.

It has, therefore, donated a cold room together with cold chain facilities to the Abia State Government. The cold room built in Umuahia under the auspices of the EU-sponsored PRIME (Partnership to Reinforce Immunisation Efficiency) project was handed over to the Abia sate Ministry of Health by the team leader and National Programme Manager of EU-PRIME, Dr Abba Zakari Umar with promises of more a ssistance.
