Johannesburg — QUARTERLY employment statistics released last week show the formal sector of the economy is still creating jobs in meaningful numbers.
But as SA's longest sustained economic upswing continues, the pace of job creation is slowing. That suggests that far more attention must be given to devising active policies to drive employment.
