Botswana: BNF '09 Hopefuls Learn the Ropes

Last week Saturday, Rungwane Primary School in Thamaga was painted yellow, black and green, as hopeful candidates of the Botswana National Front came in huge numbers to learn and hone their skills in electioneering. The BNF's Kweneng South constituency had organised an induction workshop for the aspiring party candidates for the 2009 General Elections, and the gathering attracted other constituencies in the south of the country.

Welcoming the particiapants, BNF Kweneng South Election Committee Chairman, Benjamin Kelepang said adopting high work and electioneering ethics would empower BNF parliamentary and council candidates to win a majority of seats in the upcoming 2009 general elections.
