Ginda

The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare branch office in the Ginda sub-zone has extended financial and school material assistance to 150 needy students in the sub-zone.

The head of the branch office, Mr. Asmerom Kifleyesus, said that the move is aimed at enabling the students to follow their classes properly and achieve educational excellence. He pointed out that similar assistance of school materials has been extended to 300 students living in makeshift camps as a result of the TPLF regime's war of aggression.

Meanwhile, Mr. Asmerom said that the branch office has rehabilitated 15 families catering to orphans in the Nefasit, Leaiten, Mai-Habar and Fishe-Mirrara villages in the form of cattle. Indicating that about half a million Nakfa has been paid to families of fallen heroes from the money contributed by Eritrean nationals residing abroad, he said that 2.5 million Nakfa has been extended in loans to disabled nationals in a bid to improve their standard of living.
