Nigeria: Gov Promises More Funds for Abia Varsity

Lagos — The governor of Abia State, Chief Theodore Orji has promised to provide more funds to Abia State University, Uturu for it to be placed on an enviable pedestal among tertiary institutions.

Speaking at the convocation ceremony for the 2006/2007 academic session,where he was given an honourary doctorate degree in public administration, recently, the governor recalled that during his electioneering campaigns, he made a lot of promises to the university which have been fulfilled.
