Asmara — In line with an understanding reached between the Ministry of Information and Arab-Sat, the latter has provided training to ERI-TV's engineering and satellite staff members.

The training that was led by Mr. Amir Kelifa, Arab-Sat's satellite engineer, focused on satellite website and the technical distribution of studio and satellite.

Lauding the satellite techniques and programs applied by the Eritrean Television, Mr. Amir said that Arab-Sat would do its level best to organize a bigger training in the future.

Meanwhile, Mr. Abraham Hadgu, an Eritrean film production professional who lives in Australia, donated different equipments to the Ministry. In handing the donation to Mr. Asmelash Abraha, director general of ERI-TV, Mr. Abraham Hadgu expressed appreciation for the efforts the Eritrean Television is exerting to enable Eritrean citizens in Australia follow up developments in the Homeland. He also promised to enhance his assistance in the future.
