Nairobi — Tanzania has launched a $111.5 million project to upgrade its power system to take advantage of new technologies.
The project, expected to ensure more stable and reliable electricity provision, will be funded by the World Bank. Some 81,000 rural, urban homes and public services will be provided access to electricity.
