Nairobi — World champion Evans Ashira Oure will put his title at stake before a home crowd in Nairobi in April. International Boxing Association (IBA) junior middleweight champion Oure, 34, said Tuesday that he would defend his title in Kenya to popularise both amateur and professional boxing.
"I want to make the Easter Boxing Tournament a big event to be known as "The Night of Champions" which will involve the cream of Kenyan and Ugandan boxers like Collins Sande Otieno, Joseph Akhasamba, Conjestina Achieng' and Uganda's Kassim "The Dream" Ouma," he explained.
