Luanda — The services of support to the Presidency of the Republic Wednesday in Luanda denied reports by the weekly "Folha 8" that the generals Manuel Hélder Vieira Dias "Kopelipa" and Antonio Jose Maria, heads of the Civilian Affairs office and of the Military Intelligence Services, respectively, were under the custody of the Military Judiciary.

According to a note that reached Angop Angop, the reports by the weekly are a gross fabrication by the newspaper.

"The said generals continue in their normal duties and there are no reasons leading to situations reported by that weekly which, with this, seems to be confusing its wish with the reality", reads the note.

The Presidency Support Services says as well that the publication of such stories that are no more than mere speculations, deliberately aim at installing confusion within the public opinion which is damaging to the image of the weekly, which just confirms its lack of seriousness and credibility.
