Zimbabwe: Take Up Bigger Role in Developmental Projects, Communities Urged

Harare — THE Minister of Defence, Cde Sydney Sekeramayi, has urged communities to work with Government institutions in implementing community-based projects that benefit them.

In a speech read on his behalf by the Secretary for Defence, Mr Trust Maphosa, at the handover of equipment to St Joseph's Clinic in Chishawasha last week, Cde Sekeramayi said although Government would continue to help the people, communities needed to play a much bigger role in developmental projects. The Zimbabwe Defence Forces handed over an incinerator, auto-way pit and a bottle crusher to the clinic.
