Asmara — Eritrean nationals residing in the US cities of Seattle and Portland pledged to contribute 500 dollars each in support of the national development drive.

Commending the on-going endeavors to build a strong and prosperous Eritrea, the citizens held a public meeting in which briefing was given on the objective situation in the Homeland and the resistance being expressed by nationals inside the country and abroad.

They further voiced conviction that the anti-Eritrea conspiracy on the part of the TPLF regime would end in utter failure thanks to the steadfastness of the people and Government of Eritrea. Moreover, the participants of the meeting lauded the Eritrean government's efforts to promote peace and stability in the region.
