Kenya: Cheers for Oldest Voters

Nairobi — A 101-year-old man and 95-year-old woman voted in Koibatek District.

Mr Kiptumbei Kios and Ms Terkok Kimitei Samoei turned up to cast their ballots at Toniok Primary School in Eldama Ravine constituency.

Escorted by his 71-year-old son Alexander Tumbei, Kios was cheered when he alighted from a vehicle supported by a daughter-in-law and a grandson.

He joked, saying his vote would decide who became councillor, MP and President.
