Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State has commissioned 50 township taxis bought by the government to be used within the towns of Makurdi, Gboko and Otukpo, with the promise to continue to partner with the private sector in providing easy and comfortable means of transportation in its cities.
The governor said such provision was long overdue, as such services are needed not only for the Benue public, but also those coming to do business in the state.
