Eritrea: Over 190,000 Nakfa Donated to Augment the Martyrs' Trust Fund

In continuation of their donations to augment the Martyrs' Trust Fund and assist needy citizens, Eritrean nationals at home and abroad contributed 195,000 Nakfa.

Accordingly, athlete Zeresenai Tadese donated 160,000 Nakfa in support of children of fallen heroes and orphans. He also pledged to do his level best in backing up sports activities in the country. The Administrator of the Southern region, Mr. Mustafa Nurhusein, commended the gesture of the athlete and called on him to strive in nurturing competent youths in the field of sports.

Similarly, an Eritrean national residing in London, Mrs. Senait Isak, contributed 35,000 Nakfa, from the money collected for the death anniversary of her father, to augment the Martyrs' Trust Fund.

Meanwhile, eight Eritrean mothers in Asmara visited orphan children in Mendefera, during which they donated different clothes and shoes.
