Eritrea: 37 Million Nakfa Paid in Benefit Scheme to Families of Martyrs in Anseba Region

Keren — About 37 million Nakfa has been paid in benefit schemes to families of martyrs in the Anseba region in 2007.

Families of fallen heroes in the sub-zones of Geleb, Halhal, Habero, Asmat, Sel'a and Kerkebet received the payment in their respective areas, while those in the sub-zones of Keren, Hagaz, Hamelmalo and Elabered were paid in the town of Keren. Moreover, the beneficiaries of the scheme in Adi-Tekelezan received the payment in the Serejeka sub-zone, Central region.

Reports indicated that the transport problems the families of the martyrs used to encounter while receiving payment have now been overcome as they are presently receiving the payment in their respective areas and nearby places.
