The First Joint Meeting of the PFDJ and the East Sudan Front was held yesterday in the Central office of the Front here in Asmara, during which the two sides reviewed the stage reached in relations between the two organizations and ways of further developing it.

Mr. Yemane Gebreab, Head of Political Affairs at the PFDJ, and Mr. Mussa Mohammed Ahmed, Chairman of the East Sudan Front, respectively headed the meeting.

The meeting discussed issues pertaining to developments regarding the implementation of the East Sudan Peace Agreement and enhancing relations between the PFDJ and the East Sudan Front.

It is to be recalled that the East Sudan Front delegation arrived in Asmara on January 4 at the invitation of the Eritrean government and the PFDJ.
