South Africa: Parreira Can Get Down to Business

Johannesburg — AFTER a tempestuous and incident-filled period that threatened to derail the national soccer team, coach Carlos Alberto Parreira will finally be able to fully concentrate on preparations for this year's African Nations Cup without off-the-field distractions today.

Parreira will have his full complement of players in training for the first time after team manager Sipho Nkumane confirmed that Everton midfielder Steven Pienaar and Israel-based Tsepho Masilela had finally joined the camp yesterday.
