Mai-Dima, 9 January 2008 - Different potable water supply projects are being implemented in the town of Mai-Dima at a cost of 36 million Nakfa, according to Mr. Kiflom Gebrezgiabher, head of development in the town.

The projects involve the digging of 13 wells, construction of a water tanker with a capacity of holding 500 cubic meters and 9 water distribution stations.

Mr. Kiflom further indicated that there are plans to promote efficient electricity supply in the town, reconstruct an elementary school in a suitable location, allot tiessa land and stabilize the local market.
