Visiting Eritrean nationals living in different parts of the world stated that the breathtaking beauty of the country's coastline, coupled with spectacular geographical location, makes Eritrea an attractive tourism destination.

Noting that they have enjoyed the prevailing peace and stability in the country, the nationals also expressed readiness to live up to the nation's expectation.

One of the groups, Ms. Fatna Ahmed from London, said that the purity and beauty of the coastline, in addition to its salubrious weather, is so fascinating that one gets inspired to visit it again and again. She also expressed admiration to the hospitability of the local population.

Mr. Mario Paloti, who had lived in Italy for about 30 years, said on his part that in view of the fact that Eritrea is endowed with rich marine resources and spectacular landscape, it attracts not only tourists but also investors.

Still another visiting national who had lived in the United States for 14 years expressed admiration to the attractiveness of the port city of Massawa and the modernization programs being undertaken there within the framework of the Warsay-Yikaalo Development Campaign.

A number of tourists are currently flocking to the Eritrean coastline for visit, especially the islands of Desie, Dihret, Durgila, Madot, Dahlak Kebir, Sheik Seid, Gurgusum and Gel'alo, according to the Ministry of Tourism.
