Eritrea: Dubarwa Sub-Zone - Different Service-Rendering Projects Worth 4.5 Million Nakfa Implemented

Different service-rendering projects including the installation of electricity lines, construction of potable water supply and a 4 km-long new road, as well as the building of a kindergarten, have been implemented in the Dubarwa sub-zone. A total of over 4.5 million Nakfa has been disbursed for the implementation of the projects that were undertaken through the initiative and collaboration of the inhabitants of Gebre-Kefelet.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the facilities, the Administrator of the Southern region, Mr. Mustafa Nurhusein, explained that the commendable initiative taken by the inhabitants of Gebre-Kefelet in the implementation of the service-rendering projects should be emulated by other sub-zones in the region. Noting the significance of such moves in backing up the Government's endeavors, he assured that the regional administration would do its level best in carrying out the remaining tasks.

The Administrator of the sub-zone, on his part, commended the initiative of the local inhabitants and called on them to continue such undertakings in the future.

Two personal computers, a printer and 60,000 Nakfa were donated by concerned nationals on the occasion for the development of the Gebre-Kefelet School.
