The Nigerian contingent to this weekend's FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup qualifying match against Guinea arrived in Conakry on Tuesday night, led by a member of the Executive Committee, Princess Bola Ngozi Jegede.

Flamingoes won the first leg 7-0 at the National Stadium, Abuja and exercised no fear of an upset by their hosts at the September 26 Stadium in the Guinean capital tomorrow.

Team Secretary Ruth David called from Conakry to say the Nigerian girls are in good spirit and are ready to deliver even harder punches on the Guinean tomorrow.

Ahead of the inaugural FIFA Women's World Cup finals in China in 1991, the Super Falcons defeated their Guineans counterparts 4-0 in Conakry in the second leg of a qualifying round, with the Guinean First Lady, Madame Lansana Conte leaving the stadium in fury at half-time when the Falcons were leading 3-0.
