Angola: Provincial Airport Rehabilitated Soon

Malanje — The runway of Malanje province airport, northern Angola, will be rehabilitated as from this month as part of the National Air Navigation Company (Enana), in an undertaking estimated to cost six million US Dollars.

To this end, a work award contract was signed between "Enana" and the builder, "Tecnovia" will last eight months and will focus on the repair of the pavement, roadside, parking bay and enlargement of the width from 30 to 45 metres.

On the occasion, Malanje acting governor, Gaspar Neto, highlighted the importance of this project and expressed concern at the fact that many citizens are building their houses around the airport.

The contract was signed by the head of Enana Department of Infrastructures, José Luís Coelho and by Tecnovia manager, Paulo Solipa.
