A delegation of eleven Burundian legislators arrives in the country on Monday, January 21 for a one-week official working visit.

According to the Parliamentary Communications Director, Augustine Habimana, the Burundians lawmakers will be here on a study tour of the decentralisation governance system.

"They will be here to study what Rwanda has successfully achieved decentralisation; they will meet with Rwandan Senators and MPs," Habimana said.

They will meet with Local Government minister Protais Musoni and some local leaders in the country. They will also visit Gacaca courts and Gisozi Genocide Memorial Centre.

The delegation is also expected to hold meetings with different government officials who will brief them on the decentralisation policies and strategies.
