Asmara — A week-long Eritrea Festival in Australia and New Zealand concluded in a colorful manner. The Secretary of the PFDJ, Mr. Al-Amin Mohammed Seid, conducted a seminar to Festival participants regarding the objective situation in the Homeland and the development endeavors in progress through the active participation of the people and members of the Defense Force.
As regards the Eritrea-Ethiopia border issue, he pointed out that it has already reached legal conclusion on the basis the Boundary Commission's ruling and the virtual demarcation that has been submitted to both parties and concerned institutions.
Members of the Eritrean community and the PFDJ who came from Sydney City donated 500 Australian dollars each, while the Eritrean Community in New Zealand contributed 3,600 Australian dollars in support of national programs.
In the course of the Festival, the Eritrean citizens staged demonstration and marched to the Australian Parliament in which they denounced the TPLF regime's war-mongering policy that is creating instability and chaos in the Horn of Africa, according to reports.
Different sports activities were held during the Festival, thus adding color to the event. Mr. Al-Amin awarded prizes to those who demonstrated excellence in the competition.
