In a message he conveyed to the public in the course of the visit, Abune Dioskoros pointed out that the Eritrean people are blessed ones that meet all challenges through steadfastness and patience. He also expressed conviction that the people would as ever coexist in peace, harmony and mutual cooperation.

Moreover, the Patriarch laid cornerstone for the construction of church and office of synod in Dubarwa town. The Acting Administrator of Dubarwa sub-zone, Mr. Jimi'e Suleiman, on his part thanked Abune Dioskoros for the support he is extending.

The Patriarch was accorded warm welcome on arrival in Mendefera by the Administrator of the town, Mr. Andemariam Mihreteab, and the residents.
