Harare — BIMA - son of the late Chimurenga singer Robbie "Mwachewe" Chagumuka - has roped in former Thomas Mapfumo bassist Matthew Gaston in a move expected to boost his band's stage work.

The youthful and dreadlocked Black Heroes frontman has also acquired the services of a female vocalist who had a stint with Bryn Mteki's group as part of an ongoing rebuilding exercise.

"We are using this period to rebuild the group well before things heat up in the next two months. I am fighting hard to fine tune the group before we embark on a countrywide tour," said Bima, with an air of confidence.
