Tessenei

Different development projects worth about 7 million Nakfa have been implemented in the Tessenei sub-zone, according to Mr. Tekleberhan Gebreweld, Administrator of the sub-zone.

The projects included the installation of street electricity poles and the renovation of a fruits and vegetables market center, which was out of function due to its destruction caused by the TPLF regime's war of aggression. He also indicated that preparations are underway to distribute electric poles starting from the surroundings of the Gash River to Aligidir, as well as inside the town of Tessenei. Around 6 million Nakfa has been disbursed for the project, Mr. Tekleberhan added.

More than 100 needy nationals have been provided with fruits and vegetables shops within the premises of the market place in the town, according to reports. The move is aimed at improving their standard of living.
