One of the amazing feats of Ghana 2008 has been credited to Malian Mousa Diop who trekked for 27 days to support the Mali Eagles at the Nations Cup.

Diop reportedly embarked on the solitary trek on December 25, walking through the war torn Cote d'Ivoire before arriving Takoradi during the first half of the Mali versus Benin match on Monday night.

"I did it to express my love for my team so that the Eagles won't lack support at the Nations Cup," Diop said.

His trip was financed by the committee of Mali supporters club association.
