Eritrea: 157 Million Nakfa Development Projects Implemented in Anseba Region

Over 157 million Nakfa development projects have been successfully implemented in the Anseba region in the years 2006/2007 with the view to improving various social service infrastructures and facilitate development programs outlined in the region, according to reports from the Office of Infrastructural Development, Anseba region.

The reports added that road infrastructures to and fro various towns were constructed at an expense of 131 million Nakfa, while health centers and schools were constructed and renovated at an expense of 8 million Nakfa and 7 million Nakfa respectively..

The office further added that pilot draft projects for the construction of dams, water reservoirs, and bridges in 9 administrative districts in addition to asphalting of 13 km long Keren-Hamelmalo road network that will expend over 176 million Nakfa have been finalized and slated for implementation in the current year of 2008.

Expressing gratitude to the inhabitants for their unreserved cooperation in the successful completion of the development projects of 2007, the office called for more dedication in the upcoming challenge.
