Nigeria: I Am Encouraged to Defend Myself of Corruption - Ibori

Delta — Former Delta State governor, James Ibori said yesterday that the support and encouragement of his friends and associates have given him the confidence to defend and clear himself of the serial allegations against him.

The former governor, who is currently being tried for corruption, money laundering and abuse of office at the Federal High Court in Kaduna, said that it was untrue to say that his friends and associates have deserted him.
