Eritrea: President Sends Message of Condolence to Indonesian Counterpart

Asmara — President Isaias Afwerki sent a message of condolence to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono of Indonesia in connection with the death of the country's former President Suharto.

In his message, the President expressed deep sorrow on behalf of the people and Government of Eritrea and that of his own to the Indonesian people and the bereaved family.

Foreign Minister Osman Saleh also sent similar message to the Indonesian Foreign Minister, Dr. N. Hassan Wirajuda.

    This makes me giggle only because Afwerki being a former Marxist rebel leader (now a neo-socialist dictator), Suharto would have had him killed with every other Marxist, communist, socialist, whatever in his rise to power. I sure he meant to say in his message of condolence was that He was sorry it didn't happen sooner. Unbelievable!
