East Africa: MP Attacks EAC Heads

Kampala — A MEMBER of the East African Legislative Assembly has attacked the Heads of State of the five EAC member countries, over the delayed extension of the East African Court of Justice's jurisdiction to cover human rights issues.

Wandera Ogalo said in 2002, the then chairman of East African Council of Ministers said the protocol to extend the court's jurisdiction had been concluded.
