Nigeria: New VIO Boss Tasks Officers On Corruption

Abuja — The new director of the Directorate of Road Traffic Services (RTS), formerly, Vehicle Inspection Office (VIO) under the transport secretariat of the Federal Capital Development Administration (FCDA), Major S.A Adamu (rtd) has warned officers and men of the agency to shun acts of indiscipline and corruption.

The director made the statement in his address to the operations' staff at the directorate secretariat, Mabushi, Abuja. He said that the erring officers would be appropriately sanctioned for deliberate negligence and ineptitude, while deserving officers would be rewarded at the end of every month.
