In continuation of the TPLF regime's acts of hostility, provocation, incursion and mine planting against Eritrea's sovereignty and territorial integrity directly and through its terrorist agents, terrorists sponsored by the regime carried out terrorist acts in Tessenei resulting in damage to civilians.

One person was killed and about eight others sustained injuries in the terrorist attack through a time bomb that exploded in a business site of the town in the morning hours last Friday.

Eritrean security agencies have been undertaking investigation about the incident and its perpetrators.

The Government of Eritrea has been patiently handling such continued acts of terrorist incursions and attacks originating from neighboring countries.
