Somalia: Amisom Troops Settle a New Base in Mogadishu

Some heavily Burundian troops have based at the former national university building in Madina neighborhood in Mogadishu on Thursday spokesman said.

The Burundian soldiers have arrived at there new army base with weapon and logistic items packed motor vehicles on Thursday morning  witnesses said.

The spokesman of AMISOM troops in Mogadishu Major Bo-Huku Baridge told shabelle that the soldier's move to a new army territory is parts of there peacekeeping plan.

Elsewhere the spokesman rebuffed Islamist's allegation on that they give backing the Ethiopian soldiers in Somalia saying" we have no at all collaboration with the Ethiopian troops.

He also begged off UIC's  Sheikh Ibrahim"Suley" remark charge about that AMISOM troops arrived in Somalia as illegitimate.

"we came to Somalia with the support of Somali people' we are not combatants we are peacekeepers want to help Somali people" Barigye said
