Labama Bokota Kamana and Kalisa Kase have been axed from the national team's training camp in preparations for next week's international friendly with Burundi.

The Amavubi Stars take on their Burundian counterparts 'Intamba ku Rugamba' on Wednesday, February 6 in Bujumbura.

The Rayon Sports pair was summoned to the Amavubi team last month to start preparing for the 2010 World and African Cup qualifiers due to start in May but never responded forcing coach Tomislav Obradovic to exclude them in his team.

Tomislav's squad has been having daily double training sessions at Nyamirambo stadium since last Monday.

Reports from the Amavubi camp indicate that the DR Congo born duo arrived late for the Amavubi training sessions, forcing Tomislav to suspend them.

The same absurd fate occurred to Kase last year when he ignored calls to join the team's preparations for the GTV Cecafa Cup held in Tanzania, where Rwanda lost to Sudan in final.

The game against Burundi is first of several international build-up games that the local football governing body, Ferwafa plans to organize aimed at preparing the ' ahead of the start of the qualifiers.
