Nigeria: Ebonyi Governorship Candidate, Gets Support From Top Canadian

Lagos — A Governorship Candidate in Ebonyi State, in the last election, Chief (Sir) Moses Umba received support from a top Canadian Lawyer, Mr. Azu Ananaba who arrived Nigeria recently and said the election of Chief (Sir) Umba would have been the best thing to happen to the State.

Fielding questions from correspondents on his arrival in Lagos, the legal luminary said that Umba's election as the governor of Ebonyi State would have led to massive development in the areas of infrastructure, Tourism, Education, Commerce and Industry, adding that, "it is sad that the powers that be did not allow the young man to rule."
