The GPU President made these remarks at the GPU office, on Friday, at the opening of a week long training course for journalists which is also part of the project. This training course is divided into three components, field reporting, online journalism and web mastering. The training is being facilitated by trainers from Denmark.

He described journalists as the watchdogs of the people who should also allow people to scrutinise them for transparency.
