Arua — THE LC 5 Councillor Adumi sub - county, Mr Bernard Atiku, has expressed dissatisfaction over Nusaf's delay in funding sub- projects.

"It is unworthy to delay funding of some sub-projects since people are still facing poverty in different communities," Mr Atiku said.

Northern Uganda Social Action Fund has deferred the disbursement of Shs400 million that was meant to fund over 20 sub- projects in Arua District.

The projects under Community Development Initiative in Arua District were to help fight the looming poverty in the district. The 20 sub - projects had been approved by the District executive committee.

Howwever, Nusaf district technical officer, Ms Judith Ruko, said they would first give priority to projects that take a short time to impliment.
