Dekemhare

His Holiness Abune Dioskoros, 4th Patriarch of the Eritrean Orthodox Tewahdo Church, called on nationals to boost their participation in the development drive and to safeguard national security without being kept hostage by temporary challenges.

He made the remarks in a meeting with followers of the Christian Faith in the towns of Dekemhare, Segeneiti, Adi-Keih and Senafe. His Holiness Abune Dioskoros also expressed conviction that the Eritrean people would further enhance their cherished values of cooperation and coexistence in harmony.

In the course of the visit, the Patriarch visited St. George Church in Adi-Keih, which was destroyed by the invading TPLF forces and is now being rebuilt, and the martyrs' cemetery in Segeneiti. His Holiness also visited war-displaced citizens.

It is to be recalled that His Holiness Abune Dioskoros conducted a similar visit last month in the towns of Dubarwa, Mendefera, Adi-Quala, Areza and Mai-Dima.
