Dodoma — President Jakaya Kikwete will be obliged to dissolve the Cabinet should he accept the resignation of Prime Minister Edward Lowassa, respected law scholars said yesterday.
Prof Issa Shivji told The Citizen that Article 57 sub-article (2) paragraph (e) of the Constitution stated that all Cabinet posts automatically fell vacant in the event of the prime minister resigning for whatever reason.
