Luanda — The Angolan government has recently formalised the economic cooperation protocol with Guinea-Bissau, turned to the reinforcement of the economic relations between both countries.
This information comes in the State Gazette number 126, first series, which ANGOP consulted on Sunday.
The referred protocol outlines forms of cooperation between the two signatory parties that are capable of boosting the process of deepening and developing the bilateral economic relationship.
This cooperation move is to cover the areas of agriculture, industry, infrastructures, public works, water, forests, professional training, communications and telecommunications.
The protocol also includes promotion of real estate deals and tourism, fisheries and transforming industry, air and maritime transportation, energy and hydrocarbons.
The instrument of materialising the cooperation is a credit line that supports the implementation of projects that will be presented by Guinea-Bissau or that will be suggested by Angola, which will be framed in foreign investment contracts or public/private partnerships.
