Ondjiva

The seminar on the preparation and responses for epidemiological emergencies, including cholera, taking place since Monday in Ondjiva, southern Cunene Province, proceeds this Wednesday with the discussion of the theme "Epidemiological Investigation".

Participants in this training programme will also analyse the role of municipal co-ordinators in epidemiological emergency situations, aiming for capacity-building and strengthening of cadres for emergencies.

Promoted by the Health Ministry, the seminar has the objective of training municipal co-ordinators on the importance of integrated epidemiological vigilance, dealing with emergency situations, as well as transmit the experiences on the control of the cholera disease.

This training programme will last six days.
