Eritrea: Tourism Information Centers Open in Different Towns

In line with efforts to promote the development of the tourism sector, additional tourism information centers have been opened in three towns, according to Mr. Hagos Woldu, head of investment and publicity in the Ministry of Tourism.

Noting the significance of providing the necessary information to visiting tourists, he indicated that new information centers have now been opened in the towns of Massawa, Tessenei and Adi-Keih to this end. Mr. Hagos further stated that there is a plan to open a similar center in Assab town in the near future.

Moreover, Mr. Hagos pointed out that youths who have completed diploma and certificate courses in tourism from Sawa Human Resource Development Center and Mai-Nefhi Institute of Technology are striving to develop information system as regards the tourism sector. Indicating that Eritrea is one of the top tourism destination countries in the world, he called on all service-rendering institutions to provide efficient services and accurate information to visiting tourists.
