The Resolution Draft on the disarming of citizens in illegal possession of guns will be debated this Tuesday, by the National Assembly, ANGOP has learnt.

The plenary session will also analyse the government's request for authorisation to legislate on updating the Customs Tariffs.

The lawmakers will also debate the management of the public television (TPA)'s Channel 2, whose alleged privatisation has caused a great controversy.

Some press organs have recently reported that Channel 2 has been privatised, but TPA has denied it, having already released two communiqués reiterating that Channel 2 is still part of TPA.

In the last communiqué, released on 04 February, it is explained that TPA has hired the firm Westside Investments SA to train its staff and to manage the programming of Channel 2, due to the lack of technicians on audiovisual work.

Among other dossiers, the National Assembly will also analyse the request to suspend the parliamentary mandate of UNITA's MP, Jorge Alicerces Valentim.
