In a series of meetings they conducted recently, Eritrean nationals living in Dubai and North Emirate reiterated their readiness to back up development drive in the Homeland.

Reaffirming their commitment to safeguard the nation's sovereignty and step up reconstruction programs, the citizens elected a 13-member committee that would coordinate and facilitate their activities to this end. They also pledged to contribute 100 to 1,000 dollars each for the cause.

The Eritrean Consul General, Mr. Yohannes Teklemichael, gave briefings to the participants of the meeting on the national development programs under implementation.
