Somalia: Ethiopian Foreign Minister Arrives

Ethiopia's foreign minister Seyoum Misfin has arrived in the Somalia's south-central town of Baidao the temporary base of the transitional government on Wednesday to meet with the government's top officials.

President Yusuf and Prime Minister Nur Hassan Hussein travelled from the capital before meeting Ethiopia's Foreign Minister Seyoum Mesfin in the south-central town of Baidoa, where parliament sits.

As he landed at Baidoa town's airfield the minister has firstly arrived in the presidential palace where he has met Somalia government's three authorities of Prime minister Nor Hassan Husein and President Abdullahi Yusuf and the speaker of the parliament Sheikh Adan Madobe.

Initial furtive reports from that crucial closed doors meeting say that the four met authorities have talked about the durable crisis in the country and the possibility of any reconciliation talks with the opposition groups.

Its not officially known the real outcome of that hours lasted meeting.
