Ottawa — The strengthening of the Angolan culture shall be the topic of a seminar to be lectured this weekend, in Ottawa city, by the press and culture adviser of the Angolan diplomatic mission in Canada, Mário Augusto.
The event, to be held at the headquarters of the local Angolan community, aims at informing compatriots on some aspects of the national culture to be inserted better in the Canadian multi-cultural society.
According to the organising body, the initiative is an attempt to reflect about the Angolan culture at a stage in which the black history month is being commemorated both in Canada as in the United States of America.
