Kampala — At least five people have joined the Coke millionaires club after winning more than one million shillings in the on-going Coca Cola Bonga na Coke with Billions promotion.
Three of the more than one million shilling prize winners hail from Ishaka in Bushenyi District. "In five days we have five millionaires and nine more who have won prize money ranging from Shs50,000 to Shs100,000," Ms Rita Teshai, the Senior Brand Manager, Coca-Cola Uganda, said.
Ms Teshai said that in addition to the Coke Millionaires Club, Coca-Cola would be sending five consumers to Beijing, China in August for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games. She said to participate consumers will find bottle top liners with the Olympic Games symbol of three rings.
Collect three liners, fill in an entry form and drop it off at the Coca-Cola depots or participating radio stations.
"We shall have draws in five major towns nationwide where only those entries from that area are eligible to win the all expenses paid trip," she said.
The Shs1.5 billion countrywide promotion is expected to end on April 30. There are also many other instant prizes.
